Massive Turnout at Kanshi Ram Rally Leaves Rivals Nervous

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Mayawati highlighted the overwhelming turnout of youth and women at a rally held in Lucknow on October 19, marking the death anniversary of party founder Kanshi Ram. Mayawati claimed that the enthusiastic participation has left rival parties feeling “sleepless and nervous.” This gathering, which took place at the revered Kanshi Ram Memorial, sent a clear message of strength and unity among BSP supporters.

In her remarks shared on X, Mayawati described the energy and conviction demonstrated by the attendees as something that reflected the unwavering determination of party members. The rally drew attention particularly for the enthusiastic chants calling for the establishment of a BSP government in Uttar Pradesh for the fifth time.

Mayawati, a four-time chief minister, stated that it is only natural for opposition leaders to feel rattled in light of such a strong display of support. She encouraged her followers to dismiss the “meaningless remarks and statements” emanating from rival parties, which she deemed as mere distractions.

“The people of the Bahujan Samaj have shown the entire country how committed they are to fulfilling Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s dream of turning the oppressed into the ruling class through their votes,” she proclaimed. This statement resonated deeply with the audience, who chanted slogans in homage to their leader.

Mayawati also took this opportunity to urge party workers to stay vigilant against the alleged “divisive and deceitful tactics” employed by political rivals. She emphasized the need for complete dedication to ‘Mission 2027,’ the BSP’s initiative geared towards winning the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Expressing her gratitude, Mayawati thanked party functionaries and members across all 75 districts for their efforts in mobilizing lakhs of supporters to attend the rally. She also acknowledged the tribute-paying activities for Kanshi Ram happening throughout India, calling it a symbol of unity and collective strength in pursuing the BSP’s greater mission.
